FREE online sources for distance learning due to COVID19 - New addition (26/01/21)

We would like to inform you that the Library has gathered a list of freely available online sources and collections provided from various publishing offices. Our aim is to cover as much as we can the educational and research needs of all those who are in need in these difficult times.

Some of the resources will be available only for a specific time period as mentioned in purple, next to the source's description.

 In Greek language

  • The "Kallipos" Repository
    The "Kallipos" Repository gathers books, handbooks and learning objects, which were either produced within the framework of the "Hellenic Academic Electronic (Text)books” project or submitted in the course of an open call for Open Access scientific content. The "Kallipos" repository aims at the organized presentation, storage and long-term preservation of open-access (text)books and learning objects for the academic and research community.

  • National Archive of PhD Theses
    The National Archive of PhD Theses provides access to the PhD theses from all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Greece as well as PhD theses awarded to Greek scholars by foreign HEIs and certified by the Hellenic NARIC.

  • OpenArchives.gr
    The largest portal providing a single point of access to Greek scientific digital content of high quality. Content providers are academic and research institutions, archives, libraries and scientific societies from Greece and Cyprus.

  • e-Reading Room NLG
    National Library of Greece's collection of 2.500 online greek book titles. Registration is required.
