BrowZine: A new environment for browsing our Library's electronic journals

Λογότυπος Browzine

The Library & Information Center offers access through subscription to the "BrowZine:Journal Engagement Platform", a powerful platform which allows anyone access and browse e-journals from different publishers in one simple interface.

With BrowZine, one can:

  • Read scholarly journals
  • Create a personal bookshelf of favorite journals
  • Be alerted when new issues of a journal are available
  • Bookmark articles for reading later
  • Easily save to Refworks, Zotero, Dropbox, or Mendeley

The platform is integrated in the Ebsco Discovery Service (EDS) that the Library offers access to (use the search box Searching All Library Sources, located in the library's website).

Browsing the electronic journals is possible from all computer devices, whether they are connected to the university network or not.

Accessing the full text of the articles, though, is possible only if the computer devices are connected to the university network, through IP recognition. More detailed information on how to access remotely the Library's electronic resources can be found in the Services - Remote access unit.
