We are pleased to announce that the Library & Information Center of the University of Macedonia has officially become a member of the Greek Branch of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML-GR).

IAML-GR is a network of professionals and institutions active in the field of music libraries, music archives, and documentation centres in Greece.

Its main objectives are:

• to foster collaboration among music librarians, archivists, musicologists, and information professionals;
• to support the development and promotion of music collections and archives in Greece;
• to encourage best practices in areas such as digitization, documentation, and cataloguing;
• to strengthen connections between the Greek community and the international scholarly community of IAML.

Our Library’s participation in IAML further enhances our engagement with both the Greek and international academic communities and supports the continuous development of our services, research activities, and music documentation initiatives.
