The University of Macedonia decided to approve the adoption and endorsement of Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information, according to the document no. 11290/10.2.2026 of the Directorate of Library and Information Center.

The Declaration promotes the use of open, accessible and verifiable data for the evaluation of research, funding and ranking of universities, contributing to more reliable and transparent processes.

The participation of the University of Macedonia strengthens its commitment to open science and the responsible evaluation of research.
