Through the Library's Thematic Index of Internet Resources Thir@ you can have access to databases, statistics, Internet resources etc. using either the Thematic Index or the portal's search engine.

The University of Macedonia Library offers to its users the opportunity to have access to 495 databases (bibliographic with abstracts, bibliographic with access to the full text, statistical).

User Access Rights

All Databases are divided inti two categories: a) those accessible with the users' authorization and b) those which do not require any authorization

a) Access to all databases is free from all the computers inside the Library and the University of Macedonia and it's controlled by their IP addresses. All the members of the University Community can access remotely the databases from the University's internal network, as long as they obtain an e-mail account and a password from the Computer Centre.

b) Databases of the second category are free and all users can have access
