Official Gazette is considered as the main and most important publication of the National Printing Office of Greece. It is a serial publication initiated in 1833 under the title “Official Gazette of the Greek Kingdom” and being continued until today with the title “Official Gazette of the Greek Republic”.
This bibliographic database encodes the Official Gazette’s issues of the years 1833-1847 on an analytic level. In specific, it describes in a separate record every type of legal act, including legislative regulations or official changes in employee’s status. The time period encoded is considered as an important point in the history and advancement of the Greek State, since it consists the cradle of its administrative institutions. It contains the periods of regency (1833-1835) and monarchy (1835-1844), as well as the first three years of constitutional monarchy (1844-1847).
