User Categories and Rights

Anyone has the right to borrow material from the Library of the University of Macedonia, as long as they are authorised members. User categories and the rights of each category are as follows:

  • The circulation right is valid from the next day of handing in the obligatory papers (except from Saturdays).
  • Telephone renewals or renewals via internet (that is the Library catalog) are not possible if the material is overdue and there are fines.
  • The user does not come upon fines for the days that the Library remains closed.
  • In case the borrowing card is lost, it must be reported to the Library the soonest the possible.

1 The owners of the annual library cards can renew them in the special price of ten (10) and six (6) euros respectively within one year from the Library card's expiration date. After that period, the user is automatically deleted from the Library system and the registration is considered new.
