Information Literacy
Educational Seminars
The Reference Department of the Library of the University of Macedonia offers training seminars to library users to cover their information needs and supports them on how to use the available library resources and become familiar with them, mainly the electronic ones. The seminars take place throughout the academic year and all members of the Academic Community may participate.
The subjects of the Information Literacy program are:
• Library Tour – Library Catalog Horizon • Bibliographic databases – Electronic Journals • Internet Evaluation • Reference List and Bibliography
The program is organized by the Scientific Information and Documentation Department and is upgraded continuously depending on the users' needs.
