Electronic Journals
Via indepedent subscriptions and consortiums  the library has developed a rIch collection of electronic journals, in which the access is possible either free or via IP address recognition...

A-to-Z Print E-mail

A-to-Z is the new electronic journals database of the University of Macedonia Library. It includes all the electronic journal titles and conference proceedings (more than 19.000), which are provided through Library subscriptions, through the Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-Link), free, as well as Library's printed subscriptions. It offers the possibility to search journals alphabetically by their title, by subject or with keywords.

Access to the electronic journals is free from all the computers inside the Library and the University of Macedonia and it's controlled by their IP addresses. All the members of the University Community can access remotely the databases from the University's internal network, as long as they obtain an e-mail account and a password from the Computer Centre. In its pages you can find a tutorial on how you can connect in the University's network through telephone line, available only  in greek.

Greek Journals on the Internet Print E-mail

Some international journals that cover subjects on modern Greece and modern Greek civilization are also included.

For more information you can read the relevant presentation to the 11th Panhellenic Academic Libraries Conference, available only in Greek. You can also see the presentation's slides, available only in Greek.
